Get Involved with Western Theatrics

Western Theatrics is a youth‑driven theatre company in Western Australia, dedicated to giving young people a place to create, perform and belong. Whether you dream of stepping into the spotlight, working behind the scenes, or developing your creative leadership, there’s a place for you in our community.

On Stage Opportunities (Ages 6–18)

Across the year we produce a range of musicals and performance projects, each with its own age bracket depending on the show. Young performers aged 6–18 can audition, build confidence, learn new skills and experience the joy of live theatre in a supportive, inclusive environment.

Free Social Membership – Be Part of the Community

Not ready to audition yet, or simply want to be involved? Our free social membership is open to all young people and parents who want to connect with others who love theatre. Members can attend social events, support productions, and be part of the Western Theatrics family without any cost or commitment.

Creative Pathways & Mentoring (Ages 16–25)

For emerging creatives, we offer opportunities to step into leadership roles such as directing, musical direction, choreography, stage management, design and more.
Our mentoring program pairs young creatives with experienced industry professionals, providing a safe, supported space to learn, experiment and grow. Participants gain hands‑on experience in planning, auditions, rehearsals and production processes while developing confidence, communication and leadership skills.

Applications for creative roles open annually, with opportunities across both junior and senior productions. These roles are ideal for young people interested in exploring theatre‑making from the other side of the stage.
